Following the ongoing attempt to decongest the custodial centres nationwide, the Kwara State Government is set to release another batch of inmates from various custodial centres in the state.
This is in line with the Federal Government’s directives of April 1 that prison decongestion be carried out urgently as a measure to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Recall that the state government had earlier set free 101 inmates in correctional centres across the state
