The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has defected officially to Peoples Democratic Party.
The declaration was made this afternoon at the state Secretariat of PDP party in Benin city, Edo State.
This comes after a feud between him and the National Chairman of the All Progressive Party, Adams Oshiomole.
Obaseki earlier disclosed that he was going to leave the APC party after his disqualification to contest for the primary election in the party.
However, after his meeting with President Buhari he resigned his APC Membership.
