
The Suspended acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has been released from police custody.
Magu, spent 10 days of detention in the custody from July 6, 2020 as a result to allegations of corruption.
He was brought before the Justice Ayo Salami-led Presidential panel.
Mr Magu’s lawyer Toyin Ojaomo confirmed this in a broadcast interview that the suspended EFCC boss is no longer in confinement.
The suspended EFCC boss was accused of being unable to account for the interest accrued to recovered funds of about N550bn.
