The Minister of Power Engr Saleh Mamman on Monday morning assured Nigerians that meter will be distributed for them free of charge
He made the statement available on his social media page which reads
To ensure that Nigerians only pay for the energy they consume, a Metering scheme that will see 6 million free meters distributed to Nigerian homes and businesses is set to commence this quarter.
However CME Understands if the meter is well distributed to Nigerians as promised by the minister the extortion and over the bill from the distribution companies will be minimal.
