I’m welcoming you on a very good note to another week’s review of interesting experience in the English premier league. As a Chelsea FC fan myself, it is the best week so far. I watched us play on Saturday and it gives me the audacity of hope for the rest of the season and the seasons ahead. Sadly, the team and Edouard Mendy’s clean sheet run was cut short from a very beautifully played touches from Sheffield United but it didn’t stop the Chelsea team. I must say we were flamboyant and top of that was Hakim Ziyech. The Moroccan showed pure class that earned him the Man of the match award.

At Goodison park, Bruno Fernandes’ double poured some cool water on boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United got back to winning ways.
Following their “DISASTERCLASS” defeat against Istanbul Basaksehir in midweek and a loss to Arsenal last Sunday, it looked like the visitors were heading for more troubles when Everton took the lead after 19 minutes. But within the space of 13 minutes, Solskjaer’s team completed a turnaround. The win sees United avoid their worst start to a top-flight season after seven games since 1989-90, and gives Solskjaer breathing space as the Premier League heads into the International break.
Nigerian born Eberechi Eze registered his first goal with a sublime free-kick as Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace thrashed Leeds United in an entertaining match at Selhurst Park. After enjoying a run of one defeat in five games, Marcelo Bielsa’s team have now fallen to successive 4-1 defeats after Monday’s loss to Leicester.
Bielsa lamented a lack of “danger” created by his when they dismantled Aston Villa a week earlier. Eight goals conceded in two games would suggest danger to me but what do I know.
A third successive league victory temporarily lifted Spurs to the top of the table on Sunday, a dream the happy one will be hopeful for at the end of the season. Manager Jose Mourinho “The Special One” hailed Harry Kane’s “special” qualities after the striker’s 150th Premier League goal earned Tottenham victory at West Brom.
Liverpool’s hopes of returning to the top of the Premier League table were squandered with a high-quality draw at Manchester City. The Citizens paid a heavy price for Kevin de Bruyne’s missed penalty.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp opted for an all-out attacking line-up at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, with in-form Diogo Jota included alongside the established front three of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool, who knew victory would see them lead Leicester City and Tottenham, reaped an early reward when Salah put them ahead from the spot in the 13th minute after Kyle Walker fouled Mane in the area- but City levelled just after the half-hour with Gabriel Jesus slotting past Alisson.
Aston Villa claim an impressive victory from Arsenal at Emirates stadium to move up to sixth in the Premier League. The visitors took the lead midway through the first half when Bukayo Saka turned Matt Targett’s cross into his own net.
Ollie Watkins said it was “unbelievable” to score against the team he supports. Watkins scored a hat-trick in a 7-2 win against champions Liverpool earlier this season, made it 2-0 with a header towards the end of the second half and scored his second soon after, slotting the ball under Bernd Leno after a quick break.
And the end of it all for this match week, Leicester goes into the international break at the top of the English premier league table and it was Jamie Vardy’s penalty – awarded after Max Kilman handball – made it six straight domestic and European wins for the Foxes. Brendan Rodgers says the admiration he has for his Leicester players “grows by the day”. If A very awesome thing to imagine after they saw off Wolves to go into the international break top of the Premier League table.

The review will surely be back after the international break. Let’s all go back home now and watch our favorite ballers show in their National colors. Don’t forget to share and comment your predictions for your national team.

Shalom!
