Offa/Erin-Ile Crisis: FedPoly Offa Orders Staff, Students To Stay At Home, Indefinitely
Following the security situation that emerged from communal clash between Offa and Erin-Ile communities, the Management of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Fedpoffa has ordered its staff members and students to remain calm and stay at home till further notice.
This development was disclosed by the Polytechnic Director of Information, Public Relations and Protocol, Mr. Olayinka Iroye in an official statement issued to the Press.
The statement made available to 9japarrot reads:
“Further to the security situation of this afternoon and coupled with the declaration of curfew by the Kwara State Government.”
“The management has requested all staff and students to remain at their various homes until further notice.”
He charged all staff and students to stay safe and obey the curfew rules as enforced by the State Government and pray for God’s intervention to restore peace and tranquility in the communities and the country at large.
