The 28-year-old returned to his former club Kano Pillars on Tuesday has said he returned to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), in order to help improve the image of Nigeria’s football globally.
Musa made this known in an interview with BBC Sport Africa Yesterday Evening.
“Anything that improves the image of Nigerian football is something that I strive to embark on and Kano Pillars holds a special place in my heart
“It’s the team that helped me become the professional footballer I am today, so this is more than just football but a very strong bond,” Musa told BBC Sport Africa.
