
Men of the Imo State Police Command have repelled an attack by gunmen on one of their stations at Dikenafai in Ideato South Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Mike Abattam, said the hoodlums numbering in their numbers had in the early hours of Thursday attacked the station by throwing Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) into the station.

Abattam said no life or arms were lost and the detonated improvised explosive devices only caused minimal damage.
The latest attack came few days after the palace of the traditional ruler of Amaifeke in Orlu Local Government Area, Eze E.C Okeke.
