In preparatory to Arewa YLF Summit, the Leadership of the Arewa Young Lawyers’ Forum paid a courtesy call on Mallam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari and Mallam Usman Abubakar,

In his speech, Mr O.D Jimoh, the Chairman of the Forum after expressing his satisfaction and happiness in meeting with Mallam Garba Shehu describes him as a patriotic Nigerian who is using his position as President Muhammadu Buhari’s aid to promote the unity of the country.
Adding that “Sir, this visit becomes necessary at the time our dear forum is preparing for a Summit here in Abuja. We are very happy meeting the great and eloquent Garba Shehu. As a Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, we are satisfied with your patriotic service to the country which is geared towards promoting the unity of the country. As a forum, we will continue to urge Nigerians particularly our youth to continue to keep faith in President Muhammadu Buhari’s Government. With people like you, the country of our dream is around the corner”, Jimoh said.
On his part, Mr Garba Shehu appreciates the forum for the visit and pledges support for the group. It is always my wish to identify with Nigerian youths whether from South or North. He affirms his commitment to the service of the country and her unity.
Similarly, the forum paid another courtesy visit to Mr Usman Abubakar

Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON. O.D Jimoh describes Mr Usman Abubakar as a silent achiever. In his speech, after welcoming the Arewa YLF delegation, Mr Usman Abubakar charges the forum on bro bono service to the country.
Part of the representatives of the forum include: Mr Audu Umar, Mr Ahmed Khalil, Mr Gbande Paul, Mr Ibrahim Shehu, Dauda Rahila and others.
Meanwhile, the Forum’s Summit is slated for *31st of March and 1st of April 2021 themed “Building A Sustainable Legal Practice”*
The Summit Technical Planning Committee is working on all necessary arrangements towards having a successful Summit.
