The rumors flying round that O. D. Jimoh is contesting to be the next Secretary of NBA Ilorin has been confirmed to be true.
It has now been officially confirmed that O. D. Jimoh will be running for the post of Secretary in the forthcoming NBA-Ilorin branch elections.
Not only has he obtained his nomination form, he has also completed and submitted same through the clerk of the NBA-ILORIN branch to the Electoral Committee of the branch.
A sizeable number of his many supporters graced and cheered the submission of his nomination form which was submitted within the time stipulated in the Electoral Guidelines.
You will recall that O. D. Jimoh was at a point in time the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association-Young Lawyers’ Forum (ILORIN branch) and his tenure was said to be the best ever. He is also the outgoing Chairman of the Arewa Young Lawyers’ Forum and he recently organized the biggest summit in the history of the Arewa bar — the Arewa Young Lawyers’ Forum summit; the event took place at the Aguiyi Ironsi Merit House, Abuja and had in attendance members from different places and the giants in the legal profession and top government functionaries.
