O. D. JIMOH CONGRATULATES NBA-ILORIN BRANCH FOOTBALL TEAM ON THEIR VICTORY AGAINST THEIR SAGAMU BRANCH COUNTERPARTS AT THE ONGOING Y. C. MAIKYAU SAN CHAMPIONS CUP

 

A former Young Lawyers’ Forum-ILORIN branch Chairman, current Arewa Young Lawyers’ Forum Chairman and an Aspirant for the position of NBA-ILORIN branch Secretary, Olayinka Dauda Jimoh, has congratulated the Nigerian Bar Association-Ilorin Branch football team on their victory over NBA-Sagamu branch football team at/in the semi-final of the ongoing Y. C. Maikyau SAN Champions Cup.

O. D Jimoh, in an official statement sent to our press room, reacted to the NBA-ILORIN branch football team’s victory thus:

“I, Olayinka Dauda Jimoh, want to felicitate with the football team of the Nigerian Bar Association-Ilorin Branch on their well-deserved Victory over their Sagamu branch counterpart(s) at the ongoing Y. C. Maikyau SAN Champions Cup.

“The team has made the NBA-ILORIN branch proud and have displayed to other branches that they are the best out there.

“I want to specially commend them for securing victory, against all odds. They were a man down and they still won the match; this establishes the very fact that the team had a good fighting spirit and are extremely phenomenal.

“I wish them success in the final, where they will be going all out against their Lagos branch counterparts. I am optimistic and I believe that by God’s grace the NBA-ILORIN branch will bring home the trophy come the 25th of June; they are just wonderful and ‘NBA-ILORIN branch lokan’ to lift the Y. C. Maikyau SAN Champions Cup.

“Lastly, I want to felicitate with the branch executives led by AbdulGaniyu Bello, Esq. and all the members of the branch for this feat achieved by the branch’s football team. Come 25th of June, we will be celebrating their victory at the finals, by God’s grace.

“Once again, congratulations to the Nigerian Bar Association-Ilorin Branch football team. Thank you for making us proud.”

The Y.C. Maikyau SAN Champions Cup is currently ongoing and the final will hold on the 25th of June, 2022. The final will see Nigerian Bar Association-Ilorin Branch football team slug it out against Nigerian Bar Association-Lagos branch for the Ultimate Winners position.
