Arewa Support Groups had today held their first support program in Kwara State today for People’s Democratic Party (P.D.P) candidate in person of Alh Atiku Abubakar and H.E Okowa.
The one of it’s kind program was tagged Arewa Decides 2023, and Coordinated by Ambassador Akanbi Ilyas Shola.
The political event which took place at the M & M events center, Offa road in Ilorin the state capital was in attendance of the Director General, Kwara State for PDP Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Kwara Central Youth Leader of People’s Democratic Party, Comr Abdulamid Adangba, Ilorin West House of Representative P.D.P Candidate, Hon Ibrahim Ajia, as well as the Baruteen Federal House of Representative P.D.P Candidate, Hon Musa Buko, Ilorin South House of Assembly Candidate, Hon Wakasi, Former NANS leader, Comr Lawal Olalekan Auto, as well as the National Coordinator for Saraki Peace Ambassadors Movement (S.P.A.M) in person of Amb Anjorin Samuel Babatunde and other youth personalities.
Arewa Decides 2023 brought together respective and proactive minds within the north central Nigeria and beyond and has generated lots of reactions as the event centre was over crowded by People’s Democratic Party youth who kept chanting No Atiku, No Nigeria.
The convener of Arewa Decides 2023 project in Kwara State, Ambassador Akanbi Ilyas Shola, has said that the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is only candidate capable of resolving the problem faced by the Nigerians.
Amb Shola advice Nigerians to vote for the PDP candidates and rescue the country from the 8-year maladministration of the ruling APC-led government.
Hon idrisu Yakubu, president of Arewa Support Groups in his speech said Alh Atiku Abubakar is the choice of Northern Nigeria, he further emphasised on the reason for their decision by saying that it is the decision of various support groups across North central that the North Central Nigeria has been marginalised over years and it’s time to balance the equation.
One of the key speakers who is the Director General for Presidential Campaign Council, in person of Dr Babatunde Ajeigbe applauded minds behind the great event and also plea that all more youth should join hands with the party to ensure we deliver our great country from this government known for hiding away from calling a spade a spade, he further explained how Nigeria has suffered under the All Progressive Congress (APC).
One of the speakers, who is a renowned peace ambassador and the lead pro saraki advocate, Amb Anjorin Babatunde Samuel also educated everyone present on Voters education, and the need to join hands with Convener of Arewa Decides 2023, the Presidential Campaign Council and all bodies working tirelessly to ensure the emergence of Alh Atiku Abubakar and H.E Okowa come 2023.
