Arigbanlabuwo Foundation held 2023 Islamic Competition.
Distributed gifts and foodstuffs to venerable residents of Isare-Opin and Ekiti LGA.
The second edition of Arigbanlabuwo Foundation annual Islamic competition was held today at Arigbanlabuwo House Isare-Opin, the event which was the second of it’s kind around the environ gathered lots of dignitaries and guests such as the paramount King of Isare-Opin, HRH Oba M.K Owolabi, the Isare-Opin Council of chiefs and elders, the chief Imam of Isare-Opin in person of Imam Bashir Shittu Alani, Imam Arigbanlabuwo, in person of Shiehk Arigbanlabuwo, the house of assembly member representing this Ekiti constituency, in person of Hon Ganiu Gabriel Abolarin (AGG), our active and responsive commissioner for health, Dr Raji Rasaq, Amb Anjorin Samuel Babatunde (NCCG National Representative), Comr Anisulogun Bashir Lawal, Hon Akeem,foundly called Akeem Tyre, Shiehk Al Babub Arigbanlabuwo and other dignitaries and guest from across Ekiti LGA.
Comr Abdulsalam Arigbanlabuwo, the host of this programme, during interview with cmenewsng.com said this second edition of Arigbanlabuwo Foundation Islamic Competition is organised basically to imbibe religious knowledge and God fearing attitude in our young ones, it is my belief that the lack of right teachings has brought Nigeria this far and we decided to take it upon ourselves to educate younger generations true and positive religion teachings and organising a platform where those that stand out will be celebrated and encouraged in other to motivate other youngsters too.
He also said that to actually change the society, we have to start by changing the mindset of our young people since when they are young, Quran said In one of his hadiths the Prophet (pbuh) says, “All the sins – whether they be of the past or future – of the person who teaches his/her child how to read the Qur’an will be pardoned, even the Holy Bible said in Proverbs 22:6 in its original context reveals that it is a warning, not a promise. It is a warning to parents that if they allow their children to have their own way, they will not depart from that foolishness when they are older.
He appreciates everyone for greasing the event, and pray God make everyone worthy of heaven at the end.
The Chief Imam of Isare-Opin, Imam Shittu Alani also laud Comr Abdulsalam Arigbanlabuwo for organising Arigbanlabuwo Islamic Competition, Imam said it’s part of ways to contribute to the building of a better society and he urge all other financial capable Muslims to invest in heavenly business which Comr Abdulsalam Arigbanlabuwo is doing.
One of the noble guest, Comr Lawal Bashir Anisulogun (Megaphone) commended Comr Abdulsalam Arigbanlabuwo for his good heart and act, he explained that he knew the organiser for everyday laudable initiatives since institutional day and that why he decided to grease this even to serve as encouragement to do more of his goodwill.
Imam Arigbanlabuwo, the worldwide Islamic evangelist from Isare-Opin, who doubles as the father and Imam of the organiser also expressed his happiness towards the programme, he said little steps of today, marks landmark achievements of tomorrow, he pray God bless Comr Abdulsalam Arigbanlabuwo more and more so that he can bless more and more.
