As strong disagreement rages between the PDP Youth leader in Kwara state and former senate president, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, after the PDP State Working Committee members in the state, raised concerns on how election money for 2023 was spent during their enlarge meeting on the 1st of June, 2023.
Thereafter, the State PDP Youth Leader, Prince Haliru Dantsoho Mahmud, raised many questions that only got a response through attempted assassination on his life.
The leadership of the Arewa Youth is calling on the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, Director General of the Department of State Services, Mr Yusuf Mustapha Bichi, and other relevant security agencies to caution Senator Bukola Saraki, whom we reliably learnt that is in control of some miscreants and notorious boys in the state. If anything happens to the Kwara State PDP Youth Leader, Prince Haliru Dantsoho Mahmud, (Dan’iyan Kaiama), or any member of his family, the former Senate President, Bukola Saraki will be held responsible.
This caution became necessary knowing the antecedents of Dr. Saraki for intolerance and ruthlessness for a confrontational view or criticism.
We are in a society of accountability and freedom of expression. As such, any person can comment without being threatened.
Abubakar Dan Azumi, head of intelligence of the group emphasised that the security agencies which is charged with the constitutional responsibility of protecting lives and properties of all Nigerians and must call Bukola Saraki and his cohorts to order because we observed that after a video of the youth leader calling on leadership of the Party in the state to account for campaign funds went viral, he has since been receiving threat calls and even escaped assassination attempts, a case which has been reported at the Criminal Investigation Bureau CIB of the Kwara State Command of the Nigeria police force headquarters, Ilorin, on the 12th of July, 2023.
Our call has become necessary in view of the devastating situation.
